Opal Park Warmbloods is located in the Hunter Valley, NSW Australia, approximately 14km from Lochinvar and easily accessible from the New England Highway. We are approximately 2 and a half hours drive from Sydney airport, or one hour from Newcastle airport.

Our aim at Opal Park Warmbloods is to breed quality performance horses which are also a pleasure to ride and handle. Our focus is on the Olympic Disciplines of dressage, showjumping and eventing. However, our horses are also shown in hand and taken on trail rides from a young age to familiarise them with a range of environments.

We had as the cornerstone of our breeding program the outstanding Grand Prix dressage stallion Richmeed Medallion. Our broodmares are also from proven performance bloodlines such as Salute, Ludendorf, Aachen, Northern Commander and Contact (Cor de la Bryere). 

With the passing of Medallion, we are pleased that he lives on in his youngsters. We have for sale geldings from his last crop of foals, as well as some quality three and four year olds (mares and geldings). Thankfully, despite the EI outbreak, we have three foals due by him this coming season. Best of all, we have retained two of his fillies for future riding and breeding.
