"The whole process of buying a foal sight unseen and wondering if he will become a quality dressage horse has been daunting, and risky, but after watching him this morning, I thought, yes, I will have a dressage horse one day! I just can't wait for him to grow up now!" - Helen Luebbe,
2003, proud owner of Opal Park Monet
Opal Park Modesty DOB Sept 2004 $12,000
Richmeed Medallion out of a purebred Arabian mare Ralvon Verity (Ralvon Herald/Ralvon Pilgrim)
Bay Filly, expected to mature approximately 15hh. DOB 16 August 2004. Modesty is a well put together filly with a real "look at me"
presence.
She has a fantastic up-off-the-ground trot and is very athletic.
As a part-bred Arab, Modesty is equally at home on trails, in the
show ring (in hand or under saddle), at pony club or in the dressage arena.
Modesty is going kindly under saddle.
She is ridden regularly, alone and in company. Nothing fazes
her. Modesty is
very good to tie up,
float and rug. She has been ridden in a number of Prep
tests, scoring over 60% in all of them. One of my favourites!
I do not have any current footage of Modesty under saddle. If
you are genuinely interested in her, I suggest you either visit
in person or, if this is not possible, I can arrange for a local
rider to give you an independent opinion. We are one hour from
Newcastle airport, and 20 minutes from the Hunter's famous
Pokolbin and Lovedale Wine Regions.
Opal Park Mozart DOB 13/9/2007,
to mature around 16hh.
$12000
Black Colt, by Richmeed
Medallion out of Opal Park Brindabella (Michael Angelo -
Ludendorf/Monopol).
Mozart is a full brother to Opal Park Monet (sold to QLD as
a weanling), Opal Park Melba (sold to VIC as a yearling) and
Opal Park Matisse (exported to NZ as a weanling).
Mozart is good to lead, float, rug and tie up.
Like his full brothers and sister, Mozart has a fantastic
movement. He is very free from the shoulder, and has a
lovely uphill canter. Definite
Grand Prix potential.
You can view a
video
of Mozart through YouTube.
Opal Park Rubidium DOB Nov 2007,
to mature around 16hh.
$8800
Brown Gelding, by Rubin James out of
Peronne (AWHA classified ASB mare by Zoffany from Grand
Dejeuner).
Rubidium is a half brother to Opal Park
Matinee (sold to Kristen Lyons), and Opal Park
Midday (sold to Leanne Grocott) and Opal Park Memories
(currently for sale - see below).
Rubidium is currently being started
under saddle. He is good to lead, float, rug and tie up.
This young horse is a real gentleman.
He will make a lovely show hack for a young rider, or good
all purpose mount for someone who just wants a no-fuss horse
to take to dressage comps etc.

My current work and family commitments have led me to decide to downsize and
concentrate on my riding. This is a difficult decision as my horses are very
much part of my family. To approved homes only.
