What's New?

Spring is here!

My two foals - one by Rubin James and (wait for it) one by Medallion (frozen semen) arrived safe and sound during October.

Lunar Blue (aka Missy, by Salute, from a Ludendorf mare) produced another stunning filly to Medallion. Bay, with two socks, a star and a snip, she is now four weeks old and strutting her stuff around the paddock! Not surprising seeing as she has Grand Prix and World Cup genetics in every line of her pedigree!

Remi Waikerie (a Hanoverian mare by Winterkoenig/Daktylus) went two weeks over her due date and finally produced the biggest foal I have ever seen. He is by Rubin James, and will be sold as a weanling. Currently jet black, he is already starting to grey like his mum!

I also have a lovely new mare by Salute (from an Elfenglanz mare). I was thrilled when she went in foal first go to Medallion (frozen semen).

Medallion "babies" are Eventing

According to Heath Ryan, Mystery Whisper (who is by Medallion and out of Socialight) is showing signs of great form in the lead up to the Adelaide 4* 3DE on the 12th - 15th November.

In Heath's opinion, Mystery Whisper is potentially the best eventer in Australia right now, having won Sydney 3DE 3 * last year, so he is feeling very positive about Adelaide.

Mystery Whisper’s full brother, Bradgate Park Magnum recently came second in the Pre Novice class at Goulburn. This is just further proof that the Medallion/Salute cross is one we should keep repeating!
