Opal Park Memories

One of the last foals by Medallion!

Produced from a live cover on a foal heat in the middle of the EI outbreak (we had only been a purple zone for a few weeks and I almost didn't bother!) this stunning filly foal has a blaze and four white socks - not at all what I expected from this mating!

Memories is from Peronne, and is a full sister to Opal Park Matinee (owned by Kristen Lyons) and Opal Park Midday (owned by Leanne Grocott). These two mares are a "pigeon pair" - both dark brown, with small white stars and one white foot, so I really was expecting expecting the same again this time around. I couldn't believe my eyes when I first saw her. I was sure I was dreaming! I still can't take my eyes off her! Absolutely beautiful, and a fantastic tribute to her sire, who was always full of surprises! She already knows she is very special.

 Memories will stay with Opal Park as a fitting reminder of Medallion.
